yes thats normal for speed fan to give inaccurate readings on the 12v line... had the exact same prob on an ABIT FP-IN9 I previously owned ... the 12v line was read as ~6v also on an ASUS K8V-SE and my current EVGA 680i LT my 12v line readings are approx 2v less then they are actually :/ (checked this out from the bios..) btw these readings are all with diff. psu's
Seems like speedfan has become quite a **** temperature & voltage sensor... I'm now using everest for all my sensor readings much more accurate and more easily named (unlike in speedfan where all sensors are named such as Temp1 /temp 2/ AUX / System/ ecc...)
Btw the System temp on my pc is read as -65C which is obviously a reading being taken from an unused/non existent sensor:/ blehh lol
IMO just forget about speedfan and use Everest or something similar..
