pc restarting??

Every now and then-and happening more often, my pc just turns off completely then restarts straight away, any ideas?

A little more info might be helpful, such as:-

Spec?
What you were doing at the time?
Any other problems?
Recently upgraded?

not upgraded, has happened a few times, happened once while trying to write this post!, has hppened twice as outlook express has opened
spec is only a celeron 1.8, everything onboard etc, windows xp sp2
???

check ya temps. if its old ya fans could be clogged up

Try cleaning out the fans and the entire case. Don't be tempted to use a vacuum! Either get a pressurised air can or just blow it out. I always find I can get rid of most with just my own lung power
