HI Guys, Im looking to replace my old creative 5.1 setup for the PC. What do people recommend these days? I am not on a tight budget but i don't want to go crazy prices for what i use it for.
I don't think i really get much from the 5.1 i currently have, im guessing a better quality 2.1 would do me just fine.

At least give a ball park figure speakers cost range massively, what was your original speakers.

Would you be happy with bookshelf speakers 2.0 ?

Logitek z533 Are worth a look.

Another vote for a couple bookshelf speakers and a small amp. I have a, SMSL SA-36A pro and a pair of wharfedale diamond 9.0s. Really solid bang for the buck and they look quite good on my desk as well

I seen the Steel series arena 7, anyone used them?

Never used, them, but after you've paid the "gamer tax" and "RGB tax", I can't imagine there's much left in the budget for actual sound quality :p

I'd also avoid Steelseries in general after having a poor warranty experience with them.

You'll almost certainly get more for your money buying some speakers from a speaker company rather than a gaming peripheral company.

£400 should get you some very nice bookshelves, Edifier are quite well regarded on here - I have a pair of the R1600T III, which while on the lower end of your budget are pretty decent.

The Logitech Z623 is a great choice if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, while the Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II offers a more premium sound experience. Both of these systems come with a subwoofer and two satellite speakers, so you'll get a great sound experience.
