PC Spec check

Before i push the button can you guys just run over the spec and check everything is compatible and that i havent missed anything. Also any better hardware alternatives....

Consider the 2500k over the 2400, Much better chip for overclocking and its only a few quid more, Maybe look at an SSD instead of the 10k drive, SSD's are a hell of a lot faster. Other than that it looks fine to me.

side note, That is 1 HUGE case to be putting a tiny -M motherboard inside. I have the 700D (same size) and same P8P67 pro board but not the -M version and its still tiny inside this case lol.

Ahh yea, i didnt want to spec it with an M ATX .doh! Point taken about the SSD though. Do they just fit into a 6gb/s slot?

Yeah the M4's are 6 gb/s and are considered 1 of the best SSD drives, 128gb or 256gb are worth looking at.

Z68 costs more and has some extra features you don't need.

Change the case to a 650D. Change the motherboard. Don't get the sound card, really no use with onboard sound nowadays. The heatsinks on them RAM is massive, change the cooler to a H80 or such
