PC Steering Wheel that works with Vista

Is it me or are steering wheels crap with GRID? It made the game harder for me, it seems like Codemasters can't get steering wheels right. Why can't they just map the steering 1:1 like LFS can do with your wheel, so you turn 90 the in game wheel turns 90, and then you set your wheel to the right lock. Not to put off getting a G25 though, I have a Momo and played LFS on my mates G25 and it is a lot more fun, and the build quality is amazing.

Well yea LFS is probably the most responsive game I have ever played with a wheel. Even rfactor I feel like it lags slightly behind, and the wheel axis amount is the same on every car.

Grid however...doesn't feel right. It is acceptable though and I win about half of the races online where I manage to avoid immature crashers, I have my wheel set at 360, so half a revolution each way. Its much more responsive I found that way. Like I said to many people though...GRID is arcade and has clearly been designed for the consoles.

Also with the Thrustmaster you only get 270 degrees of turning as opposed to 900 on the G25. The pedals look tacky and it doesn't have a H-pattern shifter again compared to the G25.
