PC stuck at Loading Operation System after BIOS

Hey guys,

since i moved flat, my pc has suddenly become stuck on "Loading Operating System" and doesnt continue to load after that message, ive tried disconnecting all hard drives, the message still appears, ive changed the dvd rom, ive tried changing the boot order (even tried to boot to cd rom with the windows 7 cd in), ive taken the CMOS battery out and put it back in. I'm really not sure what else i can do!, ive tried setting all bios settings back to default as well.

stick your main HDD in some else's pc and that should fix any errors...

happened to me last month... 500gb sata 2 wouldn't load windows on the main 50gb partition... stuck it in my misses pc and works fine now... her windows fixed it for me..

Do a hard drive test.
Also try refitting all components.

and yeah almost all components were recently re-sitted after my PSU issue.

I use PCCheck 6.04 but you can use hdat2

Or, assuming windows, you could try booting from the windows recovery disc.

Yeah I tried to boot cd in bios but no luck

Have you tried booting in safe mode?

Plugged Into another pc, blue screen of death when I reach desktop. I did a system restore and now I cant even get that far..

Reinstalled windows it was fine on the other pc, ive put it back in mine and still got the issue....

Might be a long shot, but try the data cable in another sata port or another data cable.

Glad to hear it`s sorted. Which was it? Cable or sata port.
