PC stuck in sleep mode, anyway to clear it?

You really need to try a number of things before you can be certain its the motherboard. It could potentially be RAM, Power Supply, Motherboard, or Graphics Card. Try other components from friends or whatever testing 1 at a time to try and locate the problem.

I've tried with one stick of RAM and it still loops

I've tested another PSU on it, still loops, tested RAM in other PC, works. I would test the GFX card but my other PC doesn't have a PSU to power it's two 6-Pin connectors. But it loops still when there is no Graphics Card plugged in.

No chance of it being CPU? If not, then it's definatly the mobo.
 
Yes, there is a chance it could be the cpu. I've had a computer fail to POST with no beeps before due to a faulty CPU (in theory I think you should get a cpu fail code).
