PC has been running without problem for ages.

I got a new keyboard which had a sleep button which I've never tried doing. I pressed it and the PC went off, thought nothing of it and left it like that.

Didn't use it for a day or so and then my wife said... why is your PC clicking?

It was sitting there in a loop, powering up for a second (fans start to spinup) and then off. Then on again. Could have been doing this for a while.

First assumption is possibly PSU? What else would cause a PC to turn on for not even half a second before powering off and cycling again?

2500k - clocked to 4Ghz, but was mostly idling at 1.6Ghz
Z68AP-D38
8GB RAM
1 SSD and 3x 7200 RPM SATA drives.
1x CD
560 GTX TI
Antex Trupower 650w Bronze PSU

Reset Bios - Pull the battery out count to 31 seconds & put it back in.

Your computer unfortunately is..... possessed! Call a vicar so that they can perform an exorcism, you'll need 10 PSU covered in Goat's blood to please the power gods.

But yeah I'd try what 4T5 said :p
