i want to connect my pc to my lcd tv but im really confused by what i need to do this.

ive been told dsub, dvi, vga and dont know what cables i need.

my sli graphics cards have dvi outputs aswell as the normal vga out put on my mobo, my tv has a PC input wich looks like a normal 15pin vga socket on the back but from what i can gather the dsub is 9pin.

help please anyone.

You need SVideo out for your TV.

Output will be on your gfx card and looks like this

Either you will have a SVideo in or maybe a composite/scart In on your TV.
You need to find what input you have on your TV and buy an adaptor OR plug it straight in with an SVideo cable.

VGA/DVI are not compatible with TV's because TV's operate at PAL which is 29.97Hz (I think) unlike 60/70Hz monitors.

dont have either on my tv or my pc only dsub/vga??? and hdmi on tv and dvi on grafix cards.

ive got my pic on my tv with dvi-hdmi but pic dont fit right, im missing a bit of the screen of either side.

help anyone please its doing my head in.

Can you get a photo of the back of your TV to show us what connection it is?

What's the make/model of the TV?

With a little more info it can be made easier.

I think I know what you mean, but you'll have to provide the image or model etc. so I can backup my theory. :)
