PC Upgrade advice

i have got thermalright fans for the case but they are definitely on the cheaper end of fan prices so not sure if having better quality ones and then having having less fans might be better.
You mistake cheap for poor quality. These aren't poor quality fans. I use these fans too.
All you need is to tune the fan curves.

yeah at the moment i have a 24" i could probably fit a 27/28" monitor but no more but i do have a 4k tv but it only goes to 60hz, i paid £120 for this budget AOC 1440p 24" monitor a year ago but i find it very disappointing and it just does not seem any better than my older 1080p monitor.

but feel a bit down and depressed at the moment and feel that doing my pc up a bit will increase my mood positively

Ah, retail therapy!

and the cpu temp is 84/85 degrees

That's too hot. Definitely check the mounting, and check that the thermal paste is still tacky.

Beyond that, I can recommend OCUK's range of Ducky keyboards. I also echo the suggestion of a better monitor, either a 27" 16:9 or a 34" 21:9 ultrawide (both are the same height). A new monitor will be a huge qualitative improvement. Take a look at the Monitors Unboxed channel on YouTube.
