PC Upgrade...

My current pc specs are -

3.4GHZ Pentium D
1GB Duel Channel DDR2 (2 x 512)
Creative Sound Card 7.1 surround
Sony DVD ROM
Sony DVD/RW
250GB WD Hard Disk
256MB ATI X600 PCI-E Graphics Card


I built this for gaming but the graphics really do suck with the current card. I dont have a massive budget but am looking to spend up to £200 on a graphics card and would RAM help? or any other upgrades that wont cost the earth??

I think these days you really do need 2GB of ram for gaming. Just buy the highest model graphics card you can afford. I prefer nVidia but from your spec you obviously dont mind ATi.

go for the 1800xt, but if you can afford it go for 1900
