Hello,

Been giving a PC to fix and it wont boot, no power. No lights and no fans spinning round.

Get a new PSU.

Connected new PSU and now i have a green light on the front of the case but still wont boot. No fans spinning just this green light on the front of case.

Any idea what else could be wrong ? i have checked connections they seem good.

It just cut out while in use not been on since.

Thanks Ben

Tried that still the same.

Just a green light on front.

No fans spinning or hard drive spinning.

Any ideas ?

its a dead mobo....

even before u changed the PSU and the fans were spinning thats what I would have thought, as the fans and mobo LED and case lights appear when mobo is dead..

Could be a major hassle, If the PSU went it may have taken other components out with it, remove all non essential parts and see what happens, do you have a spare mobo? or spare RAM?

strip it down to the basics CPU, mobo, PSU, ram and gfx, double check everythings correctly connected and reset the cmos. then its a case of swapping the parts out till it boots.

out of interest you have connected up all the power cables to the mobo and gfx if applicable ?
