Initially the PC wouldn't boot at all. It wouldn't even get to the stage where it states the CPU speed. I turned off the PC at the mains, left it for a bit, turned it back on it booted into windows but VERY VERY slowly. When it finally got into Windows it crashed. Stating the following:

Process or thread crucial to system operation unexpectedly exited or terminated

*** STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x81E60DA0, 0x81E60F14, 0x805F9F88)

What shall I do?

opened up the PC its really really dusty. Trying to get it mostly out...buts it nearly impossible.

The dust is stuck in the Arctic Cooler on the GFX.
I'm gonna reseat the CPU.

GFX is Radeon 9600Pro

I was wondering about trying to raise the CPU speed.

Also any opinion on the RAM timings?

Hehe almost the same as my old rig
NF7-S / XP2500-M
2x512 Corsair
Radeon 9600pro

The only part I still have is the memory running in a 939 HTPC system
As for the memory timings TBH I can't remember much.A quick search on the net for a guide should help. Baddass on here had a good NF7-S guide don't know if that is still in existence or not.
This should help
