Pc won't boot or display anything

My pchas been powering on and off randomly for a week, tonight it got to the stage of powering off every 15-20 mins. I would have to unplug the psu and plug back in to restore power and boot up.

Its just lost power and now wont boot or display anything when turned back on.

Fans and leds are running ok, ive tried a different gfx card but still no signal. Hdds spin when powered on and have also tried with 1memory stick.

Is it dead cpu?
 
Intel i7 920 2.6ghz
6gb (3x2) gskill ddr3
Asus P6x580-e motherboard
Hiper type-r 480w psu

After taking everything apart and just putting the cpu back in, it now powers on for 1second then dies
 
did you leave the motherboard battery out a good 10 minutes?

anyway you can test with spare psu?

fans still spin and mb lights light up?
 
Left it all unplugged for a few hours and nothing.

Bought a new cpu/mobo/memory/psu and nothing....now off to buy a new gfx card :p

Needed an upgrade anyway lol
 
Right guys...

Put in a new gfx card and its still saying no signal input on two monitors.

So thats cou/mobo/memory/psu/gfx all new and still same issue
