PC Wont Boot

Hi,

My PC kept randomly turning off and I was getting the odd blue screen of deaths but they became more frequent.

I tried a new Motherboard and RAM and having the same problem. When pressing the power button the PSU Fan, Case Fan and CPU fan all spin for around 2 seconds then shutdown.

I have Intel i5 2500k Sandy Bridge and Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H Motherboard

Any ideas? Thanks!

Does this happen with or without the Gpu connected?
Have you also tried using another Psu?

Maybe shorting out in the case, check the right amount of standoffs are in it.

Same with and without the GPU.

Checked and built it outisde the case also.

What about the OS, did you do a fresh install when changing mobo?
And is the 2500k OC`ed?

Done that myself, spent an hour trying to figure out what was wrong, felt a proper chump

No the old motherboard is still broken

Thats why I bought this new one.
