PC works but not working with monitor

My pc is finally working but when I plug it into my monitor there is no picture. Power is on and everything.

What spec is your rig?

Are the fans and everything inside the PC working when switched on?

What cable are you using?

Are you connecting it via GPU or mobo?

The Z77 D3H might well need the BIOS updated. It had issues with certain GPUs.

I'd remove the GPU, reset the CMOS. Connect the monitor to the mobo output and hopefully you should get signal to the monitor to do the BIOS update. Once updated put the GPU back in and tweak the BIOS settings (ie overclocking and XMP profile for the RAM etc)
