Hi
Currently running the following:
Intel Q6600 Go on a 334 FSB at 9 x multi with 4 Gig of Corsair XMS2 6400 ram with 4-4-4-12 timings.
The default memory on a 1:1 ratio would be 667Mhz which is PC5300 spec.
I have set mine on a 5:6 divider which gives 800Mhz - PC6400 spec and therefore set the timings back to the rated 4-4-4-12 for the specified 400Mhz speed.
Initially, the bios set the timings very slack at roughly 5-5-5-18 which didn't make sense.
Does the above seem to be ok and generally speaking, is their a greater benefit in running ram at design spec on a divider as opposed to running at say 667Mhz on a 1:1 ratio.
Thanks
