PCI-E 3.0

Was going to buy my build from OCUK tonight/tomorrow, only to read at the top of the screen MSI has a board on pre order which will come with PCI-E Gen3. Am i better off waiting around for the release of PCI-E 3 or shall i go ahead with my build?

I don't want to waste my time/money putting something together that in 6 months time i'm going to want to change :rolleyes:

You could go with the AsRock below which is also Gen 3 ready.

So is there going to be a hugely noticeable performance gap? or is that something that only time will tell?

What between PCI-E 3 and current pci-e specs, don't know yet as I have not seen any reviews or benchmarks.
