PCI-e 6 pin and 8 pin question.

A Friends PSU only has 1x6 pin and and 1x8 pin PCI-e power cables.

Is the 6 pin to 8 pin adapter all he needs for a graphics card that has 2x8 pin power connectors?

Or should i just get him a 6+8 powered card ?

What PSU is it ?

Does it not have 2 x 6+2 PCIE ?

It's a ocz 600watt , It has 1 8 pin and 1 6 pin only
