Right, stupidly, I have gone and installed the wrong drivers with a new PCI-E raid controller.

It's a silicon image 3112 controller, and I've gone and installed drivers for Silicon Image 3132.

The PC will detect the drives in the BIOS which are attached to the card but won't show them in Windows or Disk Managament.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks, Phil

I've tried installing them using device manager or updating the old ones. the pc still picks up the card as silicon 3132.

I uninstall the drivers, I reboot the machine, the bios still picks the card up as 3132 and the card is reinstalled by windows xp pro without even needing the drivers cd.

you tried removing drivers then removing the actual card on reboot. getting in to windows, then rebooting with card in

In a way, I was wrong. lol.

The person I bought the card off put the wrong installation guide in the box.

Thanks for all your replies.
