pci-e gigabit cards?

i was just looking around for a set of gigabit nics and was thinking how come we havent seen any pci-e versions out? i know d-link have one but it appears to be only in the US also at $99 it aint cheap. anyone got a review of a pci-e/pci nic comparison?

Not much point. Theoretical max throughput of a gigabit nic is about 122MB/s. If you know that's going to saturate your PCI bus, you probably need to upgrade to PCI-X, or 66/64 PCI, which is where most of the server nic's are.
