Just found out that the PCI-e slot on my motherboard is revision 1.0a. I understand that PCI-e 1.0 boards won't be compatible with the new PCI-e 2.0 graphics cards. What about 1.0a? I can't find any info about it.

i have the same issue.. but they don't really say it won't work in a pci-e 1.0. the only way to know 100% is to wait till the 2950pro is out and im sure people will try it on the 1.0/a board... because nobody know at this point...
 
Yeah definatly wait and see approach, definatly confusing as well with all the pciexpress revisions and then dont forget theres 1.1 express ;)

I got a feeling as long as you can power it with a decent p/s, it will work....
 
Well, fingers crossed. My DX10 / Vista upgrade path might be getting more complicated than I initially thought.
