PCI-E wireless adapter issues

Hi all,
I'm on my third Edimax wireless adapter and they all seem to start dropping the connection after a few months, maybe I've just been unlucky.

Anyway, I'm looking for a new adapter and wondered if the Asus AC-68 is worth the money. It's obviously quite a bit more pricey than the Edimax but if I can get some reliability I'm happy to pay. Or can anyone recommend an alternative?

I've tried the usual fixes, resetting the router, various channels etc but all my other wireless devices are connecting fine so I'm presuming it's the Edimax at fault.

Thanks in advance.

I have the Asus PCE-AC68 card fitted to my desktop. Had it a few months now and it has worked flawlessly. Argos were doing a deal on them for £50 delivered when I bought mine.
