PCI-E x4 SSD

Can anyone please advise me are this two correct parts together will fit into my motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H rev 1.0? Also do I need to make a change of few setting on the bios, if so, what setting it will be.

The parts should work, but are you planning on using it as a boot drive?

Quite a few older boards can't boot from PCI-E NVMe drives as they don't have the required modules in the BIOS to allow it. We have a Asus Z87 board here for example that is running a custom BIOS to allow it to boot from an PCI-E/NVMe add in card (running an Samsung SM961). A quick google suggests that Gigabyte Z77 board won't boot them either, so you'll either need to find a custom BIOS or make your own with the required addition.

I *think* it would work as a storage drive either way though.

Yes I want it as a boot drive! Forget to metion this. (windows 10 pro to boot up)

Googling a bit, seems there's a bios update. Bios F16j or newer supports nvme booting.
