PCI Simple Communications Controller on DS3P

Hi all

Haven't had anything new added to my machine in the lst couple of days and today I had to make a change in the BIOS for the CPU fan alarm.

Now I have started getting a message stating I need to install a driver for PCI Simple Communications Controller.

The board is a DS3P.

Sorry to ask here but couldn't see anything on a quick search on the Gigabyte site.

Try reinstalling the Intel drivers.

should have said everytime I put the CD in the drive it hangs resulting in a reboot as I cannot get out of the set-up routine.

I'll have a look and see if I can download them from the Gigabyte site.

Tried installing the latest Chipset Drivers and Audio Drivers from the Gigabyte site but still have the problem.

No Modem and I'm using the Ethernet port on the motherboard.

What about the on board network, have you installed the drivers for the Marvell on board NIC?
