PCI USB Cards?

Hey peeps. I'm needing some help. I need to install Windows XP onto my PC for certain reasons but I have the "unstable mouse rate" issue since I have a P55 motherboard. Even changing the polling rate doesn't fix it.

I was wondering if a PCI USB card would fix the problem? Is there any difference if I used a PCI USB for my mouse and if possible able to change the polling rate?

All help is appreciated. Thanks.

Shouldn't have any difference. Looks like it's the mouse thats the problem. Swap test and use a different mouse, if it's still the same, go into Device manager, uninstall the universal serial bus/adapter, then restart the computer and it will reinstall itself.

If this doesnt fix it, try a PCI usb card, but apart from that, I don't know.
