PCMCIA Wireless card without the bulky bit

You cannot even get a Rizla paper under there... Its simply not possible.
There is no way that the MiniPCI slot is hidden underneath, I promise you.

Yes, I know what they look like. 2 of my kids have wireless laptops taht are using MiniPCI, one I put in myself, the other had it built in, I have sorted out a number of LapTops with MiniPCI, PCMCIA, and USB Wireless solutions.

I was merely thinking as an after thought, but then realised that this particular LapTop has no PCI option due to there physically not having a PCI slot, but Dano says there wont be 2 different models... I was sort of hoping he was right, but alas its just not possible.

ASK Packard Bell? - I have done and I await a reply.
