PCP/Leases

If a low flat rate monthly sum (excluding the initial payment of course) seems attractive, then i'd head over to pistonheads and check out the leasing deals thread. You may find some golf deals coming up shortly as i believe it is going through a facelift.

Dealers around here don't generally stock anything older than about 2 years old. But probably not the same everywhere.

Thats very unusual, I've never found a dealer that doesn't stock older cars. Some main dealers, bizarrely, seem to offer Approved Used cars over 10 years old

Yeah, maybe on M3's or something equally as potent. But when I was looking for something a bit older, none of the main dealers around me had much in the way of 3-4 year old stock.

For example, there are only 2 2013 Golfs at my closest VW. The rest are 14 or newer. My local BMW group only has 4 cars older than 2012 (and there is only a few of them, early F30's), and they are, rather bizarrely, a 2009 123d and a 2009 320i (yes, so e90). And 2 2011 M3's. And that's from a stocklist of 360 motors.

For some reason, local to me, main dealers just do not stock older motors. Unless they are relatively fruity (that VW only has one Golf GTI on it's website, and even that's a 2015), or a rather bizarre thing like that e90 320i.
