what pdf creator is similar to the sourceforge one but will also work in vista??

Well you could download OpenOffice. It works in Vista and you can export documents to PDF quite easily.

cutepdf says it supports Vista but I ain't tried it myself

CutePDF is a great addition to XP, give it a try in Vista if their site says it works.

Or buy Acrobat

If you have office, with tha add-in from the microsoft site, you can save as PDF.
