Hi

looking for a pdf reader that doesnt sneak in any toolbars on the quiet

doesnt have to do everything just a lean reader software that will do

its for a vista laptop

i could always install something later if needed to take a pdf apart

thanks

Foxit is good too, it has toolbars during the install, but you can tick or untick where you need to

It's worth noting that the latest Adobe Reader X is vastly improved over previous PDF readers. It loads instantly now, has excellent browser integration and doesn't install any bloat. The download is also pretty small at 35MB.

Yeah, Adobe Reader X crashes every time I try to open any of the PDFs sent to me by Open University (textbooks, booklets, etc). Linux opens them fine, as does Foxit. Weird.

I think I'm going to uninstall Foxit in favour of that Nitro Reader though, looks good AND has a x64 version. Thanks for the link. :)
