Peening a 'hard linked' master link help

Well, got one with my renthal chain, how do I peen this thing with my tool?

It's a bloody nightmare!

The only way is to have the correct chain breaking/riveting tool. There should be a ballbearing type push plate that winds in against the pin to spread it over the plate.

Thats for riveting the hollow pins.

My mate has lent me his tool which does the hard pins, so this thread is rendered usless
