Hey all, have any of you heard/experienced the wonderous failure of the new Pegasus R4 RAID drives when there is an iPhone near it that either receives or makes a call?
I've been doing some testing and so far have confirmed that with both incoming and outgoing calls the R4 unmounts:
> iPhone 3Gs
> iPhone 4 - iOS 4
> iPhone 4 - iOS 5
Oddly, I tested the 4s and it was fine...then I tried the 4 again and it wouldn't unmount...seems very inconsistent.
I did the above tests with a Thunderbolt display hooked up as well and it knocked this out too (so no loop through bypass for the display). I had to reconnect the drive to get them both back online.
I'd be interested to hear about anyone elses findings though...amazing to see that a phone can have such an effect on the Thunderbolt connection, and just to make sure I tried a HTC Desire and a Nokia...which didn't present any issues.
