Pendrive Backup

Hi guys!

Is there any option in Ubuntu to auto backup my pen drive when it's 'mounted' ?

Some kind of hotplug event would do it, each time the device is inserted you could run a script to backup. I can't say I have personal experience of doing this though.

tips: KERNEL=="sdb", RUN+="/usr/bin/my_program"

To ensure that your pendrive is always /dev/sdb, you'd probably need a udev rule.

I just have a very simple script in a .bat file which I set to perform every day.

However that is in windows but I'm sure it will be something similar in ubuntu.
