Penumbra : Black Plague Demo

I finally completed both games now, and i absolutely loved em. Was just like Silent Hill/The Thing etc, just what i like, and jeezus i was scared just turning corners in the game, which is a big feat as i thought games couldnt scare me anymore :) Id recommend both games to anyone, GET THEM !
 
I played the demo and was surprised how much I enjoyed it! Quite creepy in places and the puzzles were good - however I couldn't get past the air in the vents... I recently found the answer though so I might go back :D
 
After playing the Black Plague demo I installed episode one which I have enjoyed up until now. I find the combat system really stupid and I keep dying trying to kill the spiders which can't be avoided on one of the later levels. There are only so many times that I will restart an auto save in a game and I have reached that point that I can't be bothered to continue.

Please let me know if the combat in Black Plague has been revised or removed as I liked the first episode apart from this.

Those orange things that you find lying around save your game.

I never realised what they did at first, and was using them all the time thinking something will happen.

Yeah they removed the combat system in Black Plague, it makes a real difference, you simply have to hide and be sneaky :).
