Just playing through this now and I have to say it's rather fantastic! I recommend you get it. Very creepy and original. Good stuff.

The story is good and the setting is similar to The Thing!

the first 2 are among the scariest games i've played. was excited when i found out there was a 3rd but everyone said it was rubbish so i gave it a miss

I only played part of the demo in the first game in the series. Do you pick up a shooter at any point, does it vary? Or maybe its the opposite to Doom3 which has few scares and too much action (imo).

Yes I realize that in many ways it will be different to Doom3, just sprung to mind.
