    Hi.
Taking my kids to ‘The Deep’ today. Coming from north Derbyshire.

    Taking a picnic with us.

Anywhere suitable and nice to have a picnic after we have visited the Deep? When we are heading back home.

Don’t know the area. Many thanks

Also a vote for Cottingham it’s a little village a little way out of hull. But it’s lovely.

Plenty of benches around the marina which has been redeveloped, although it will be busy today with the nice weather. The kids will appreciate berts pizzeria which has a good choice of ice-cream. Otherwise hessle foreshore

As I live in Beverley, those places are still pretty good.

Just make sure you get chips with "american" chip spice from somewhere too.

I’ve had that argument before LOL. “We invented chip spice”. No. You imported it.
