People parking on council grass verges

This pees me off too; around ours the council has put wooden stakes in to stop people but on the few areas there are no stakes we have muppets constantly parking there and using it as another drive way.

Only solace i found was last week I saw someone having to dig their car out, as essentially it had become so churned up by their muppetry that the car had dug in - and they had to use a spade and old carpet to get it out! :D

Had a very similar situation where I used to live and someone had to dig themselves out using old carpet too. Sadly once they got going, they left the old carpet where it was and it stayed there for about 3 months!! :(

Rocks sound like the best option, and if someone does drive into them at least you get some entertainment from them.
People like this really bug me, so lazy they have to park as close as possible rather than look for a suitable place and walk a few hundred meters.

We had similar near our house, in winter last year it made a proper mess so after a load of moaning to the council from us and neighbors they cemented in 2ftish tall wooden beams standing up right in a wavy pattern all the way along the paths edge, looks really nice however the cars just now park right up against the wooden beams and don't park on the grass.. so didn't really solve anything lol

The best idea is to wait till its dark, bung some bloke from a local building site to pop over and dig it out with the digger to about 8-10 feet. Then build a light framework and turf over the top. The first person to "park" in that area once its been done will have a bit of a shock.. :D You could also add a load of water and piranha or alligator's for extra lols.. :D

If they don't park on the grass then surely it solved the messy grass problem?

Sounds good though.

Isn't it illegal to park obstructing a pavement?

People don't care.

At the petrol garage near mine they kept parking on the curb so people walking a long would have to walk through the station. :o

They put boulders in and people kept crashing into them. They've changed them out now for bars with lights on top. :p
