People who don't make any attempt to let you pass.

People who walk on cycle paths annoy me more  Two grannies even had the cheek at the weekend to walk straight onto the cycle path and along it even though I was cycling on there. Cue me having to break sharply and dodge them, they didn't even make an attempt to move!

I get this quite a lot as well, particularly with groups of 3 or 4 people taking up the entire pavement who get annoyed when I don't get out of their way, where do they expect me to go?

It's probably because of your physical size. Scrawny little gits walking into you makes them feel hard.

Yeah, has happened to me. Some twelve year old ****heads were just walking towards us expecting us to get out the way, going to shoulder barge our ribs..

Anyway, the one that hit me got knocked backwards since I tensed up. The one who walked into my friend who is absolutely huge(muscle), and looks about 25 minimum just carried on walking, and the guy got knocked over :o

I hate pushchairs though..

If you think british people are rude, then you hant met germans. They push in front of queues and generally are worse than us.

I've found them to be quite plesent, in berlin anyway :)

But to the OP, yeah it happens here, it shows you the spatial awareness of most people these days, absolutely none at all.

You wonder how any of them even drive, let alone walk in the street without being such utter numpties.

The people that really annoy me are the ones who just walk out of shop entrances without looking and just cut you off. Seems this is a major problem with mums with pushchairs as well who think theve some god given right to go where they want when they want and everyone will stop.

they think your hot and want to touch you and are annoyed when you move out of the way :( , or they're anti-social.

On a related rant, what's the deal with these massive 3-wheeled pushchairs that seem to be all the rage at the moment?
Sorry but a bleeding buggy that takes up more road/street space (and has higher spec brakes!) than a hatchback car is just flaming excessive. Plus they tend to be used by the Chelsea Tractor school-run types which just increases the hatred factor exponentially as far as Im concerned.

Also regarding old people, the Inuits have definitely got the right idea. What purpose do they actually serve??

Ahhh very annoying.

I found a way to get around it tho, if Im on the bike in summer, I just walk around town in my leathers.
Everyone seems to get out of my way in a hurry then.

swing your helmet about in front of you aswell for bonus points.

years of playing ice hockey and american football really help when people dont move outta the way, i just give them the old stiff shoulder

Stand in the middle of a London train station when it's very quiet and not many people around. It'll be just seconds before anyone walks into you or brushes past. Proven method and I just can't explain it
