People who fill their parcel shelves with soft toys scare me

My mum has 2 beanie pigs on her dashboard, comes from when she got given a pink Merc C180 many moons ago for a couple of weeks while hers was ordered.

They've been in her Golf and they're now in her bimmer - she's not dizzy and she'd kick most peoples arses round a track!

I just have a 'Churchill' and my Panama Hat sitting on my parcel shelf!... but I know what Fox means!...

How can someone be in full control of their car if:

a) they can't see via the rear view mirror through the rear window as its piled high with Tigger and friends!.
b) when negotiating a bend at more than 5 mph the entire content's of the parcel shelf is distributed throughout the cars interior!.

I give em a W-I-D-E berth :)

I'm talking about people who have FILLED their parcel shelf here guys :p
I saw one on Sunday,a Fiat chinco, I wondered if it was some kind of airbag supplement :) but then got to thinking that if it got up enough speed and crashed would a cudlywoodly duck's beak be embedded in her thick skull?

My misses likes to have loads of stuffed toys etc in her car. She used to have the parcel shelf of her 306 FULL of crap. It didn't bother me until I had to use her car for something.

I sold her car and bought her an mr2 :) no more parcel shelf! She still has about 3 different Gromits in there but it's much better.

She just likes having stuff like that around. It's not particularly intrusive and she's certainly not dizzy. I know that a car is for driving blah blah but if you haven't realised yet that women think differently to men then you're in for a big shock when you grow up :)

the lack of them not being able to see out of the back isn't a concern for me - driving around in a van is no different. I'm just a fan of "fluffy" carp flying around in cars

In Canada, I passed some korean whitelabel vehicular contraption complete with a full set of bright pink 'Hello Kitty' seat and steering wheel covers :(

And I mean bright pink.

Sounds like the blue Micra I walked past last night.

Pink flowery designs on the outside, fluffy pink seat covers, pink parcel shelf, fluffy pink steering wheel.

:(
