I have been having some issues with BF4 after the game rubbish was included with the windows update...some crashing and freezing

no idea if it's working or no, but i keep a pretty clean house in terms of background processes so i doubt there's much to improve.
I'm on the preview build of Windows 10 so it is probably an issue with that but I can't have gaming mode enabled or full screen optimisation as it causes pretty bad stutter in game and can force some really low FPS. It is an odd bug though as when you alt tab and click somewhere else the game will jump to 70-80 fps, click back in the game and it tanks to 25.
