Howdy,

I'm having a problem,

I know what this number €101,600 is 93% of another number. But I dont know what that number is, how do I find the original number?

I have Googled this to no avail.

Thought the inteligent people on here might have an idea :)

Yea what they said, either wil work. Basically you're solving

0.93*x = 101,600

(since 93% = 0.93)

so, naturally x = 101,600/0.93

You could always build yourself a simple example to test the maths?

...this number 90 is 90% of another number. But I dont know what that number is, how do I find the original number?

Hammer at calculator until 100 falls out... 90/0.9

thanks for the answer , much appreciated.
