Perfect Dark Zero questions

Thought it was garbage, it's the only full retail game that I have 0/1000 in. Might re-visit it to see if my opinion has changed.

Personally, I really enjoyed it. Good game.

Are the people who dislike it mainly those who are fans of the original?

I never played the N64 game, so don't have that to compare it to.

IMO it was just a very average FPS.

I played the demo, and i thought it was disappointin.. nothing like N64 days.

Bought the special edition version for a tenner the other week. The plot and voice acting is crap but the action is really good. Its good online too. Was about halfway thru the SP campaign tho and got a disc read error right where it was supposed to save it, which corrupted my savegame so gotta start from the beginning again

Its a shame this game really dosnt live up to the original..

It has a lot of content but all of the levels are pretty b;and to play and look at.. And everything has far to much specular and gloss reflectvitity effects..

Who ever the Art director was on it needed to be shot. Infact so did the lead designer and story writer

Nice to see COOP tho..

I'm playing it through on the harder difficulty at the moment. Last night I did the jungle mission and I havn't had such a good time gaming since deus ex.

The mission involved a hell of a lot of stealth since anytime an enemy seen me I was dead in seconds. It felt like MGS3 (jungle and everything) but in proper first person. The mission took me a good hour simply because I had to be ridiculously careful (mainly because there's no real save system, mission has to be started again).

Really enjoyed playing this mission last night and I'm hitting the sack in a bit to give the next one a bash! Cracking game and I do wonder why people don't feel the same :confused:

I picked it up again this week for the sole purpose of playing it co-op with my mate.

When I went back to the game It was not as bad as I remember it, but it sure is not as good as the N64 shooters.
