Ive started to get these BSODs with event 6 and task cat 6 :

Some processor performance power management features have been disabled due to a known firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

I cant put my finger on the cause of the problem, ive checked my ram with memtest and its passed with flying colours and ive just reinstalled windows yesterday?

Anyone got experience with this bsod at all ?

Can you copy us the event log entry for this problem it would be a lot of help because
Event 6 can mean a lot of problems such and incompatibility with the PCIe controller,
Ethernet/LAN port duplex settings could also be slightly out as well.

Ah i just reinstalled windows today in hope it would cure the Blue screens, if there was a drive issue or something! so far i have not had one but as soon as i do , ill post the log!

This BSOD wasnt caused by the power error but by something else -.-

My advise would first be to un-install all the drivers for your Graphics card then re-boot
and install them all over again making sure you get them from the proper web-site
E.G. if its an XFX card go to the XFX site to download the drivers.

Once you have done that then follow these instuctions and run a file scan on the system
files and make sure that they are all in tact if there is some damaged it will fix the files
for you, follow these instructions.

Click Start > Run > Type cmd > Type sfc /scannow

This will run a scan on all of the system files and make sure they are all as they are
suppost to be.
