Performance List of every graphics card ever made

Seems to be about all of them and might be useful for anyone wanting to roughly buy similar performance but with newer features or comparing laptop to desktop etc

I have to question the validity of these ratings, because it has a GTX295, 4870x2, 5770 and the 4850x2 all below the GTX260. While nice, the GTX260 isn't god, otherwise I woulda bought one!

According to that site, a GTX 260 is ranked 10th, and a GTX 295 is at 11th

Quite a few of the rest of the cards seem quite out of order

I always take these sites with a pinch of salt, sometimes quite a lot...

The benches look to be based purely on 'passmark g3dmark' benches, whatever they are.

So not really based on a broad range (read: gaming) of tests.

It lists the 9800gx2 lower than the 8800gtx ;/

An extremely rough guide then I guess or maybe just a very long list

I noticed theres a benchmark thread for the entire test not just gpu here:

toms hardware do that I think

As much as I would like to believe my 4870 is faster than a GTX 295, it just isn't going to happen.

Any test that put's a 4870 above a 4870x2 has got to be well suspect as far as i'm concerened. I wouldn't even bother to open the salt to take a pinch of it myself.

I noticed that as well but I wouldn't say a 5770 beats a GTX260.
