Performance MX Paint Fading?

I have a Performance MX mouse which I use all the time, I have noticed that nearly all the graphics on the mouse have completely faded (logitech logo, dpi logo and darkfield logo) and also the silver plastic where my thumb rests has begun to disentegrate.

Anything I can do to prevent further visual damage to the mouse?

How long have you had the mouse for?

I would just class this as normal wear and tear. The only thing you can do to make the paint job last longer is to use it less.
