Performance or looks?

All I have to do to make it look that that:

Lower
Spec C alloys
Front spats
Front underspoiler
Side Skirts
STi Rear wing
I'm undecided if I'll put fog covers on though

I think it looks great and not tatty at all... but that is how I want it to look when I do the styling.

Do it :D , You will have one stunning car then.

But please don't go sticking an american flag out of the roof ;)

I'd think about how many times you use that availiable performance.

Do you unleash all that power at every opportunity on the road? Can you? Would there be any benifit to any more? No?

That's the kind of thread to follow....

I'd go with the looks/handling/brakes myself. Much more "useful" and rewarding, in that effect and I'd hazard a guess that you'll get more from it that way, without putting any overt threat on your liscence :)

If I were you (which Im not so you dont have to listen to me:p) I would sell it and buy an STI with PPP and Prodrive springs and add a whiteline ARB and droplinks. That will sort the power and the handling issues, instead of pouring excess money into the upgrades.

I would definitely start with the Whiteline stuff though, it works wonders.

Unfortunately mate, changing it isn't an option, as despite adding mods I can still insure the WRX. However, I cannot insure a gp20 STi... yet :)

Surely it can't be any more expensive to insure an STI than a modified WRX running 280bhp?

And your budget may need to extend to a new engine: AFAIK the WRX unit is good for about 320bhp tops, then something important mechanically is likely to let go. If it's not the engine, it will be the gearbox. Go to 280, then start saving for the STI.
