Performance questions.

Fair enough. Those lows being identical is especially weird - that's the one place I'd expect to see improvements.
Agreed, it does seem odd to me.

I've seen differences in other games though, at least according to memory anyway, as they don't have benchmarks. But games like Mafia the old country felt smoother and definitely had less stuttering when maxed out, same too with Cronos New Dawn and Stalker 2.

Will be interesting to see what kind of performance I get in Crimson Desert when it comes out tonight.

Would be good if you could get a MSI afterburner going with the on screen display of GPU and all cpu cores to see what is going on in real time.

@exhumedye

Just to clarify..are you using a 5070ti as in your sig?

Also what resolution are you running at?

WD Green 2TB NVMe -is that maybe also holding you back a bit? the green drives are more designed for storage? I dunno the specs on those but I'd be looking at the blue or the black drives for game and/or OS drives?

Yes, same as in my sig.

Perhaps the drive is holding me back, I don't really know, I'm not that well versed in NVMe's.

Maybe not so much then... I think @Rroff is actualy right here... it wont make a massive difference.

What res are you runnig though? Cyberpunk is a seriously demanding game, I run it at 1440 despite having a 4k OLED screen, and I only get about solid 70fps with reasonably high settings, not anywhere near max.

Just to add, the games you listed are all pretty new 'big' demanding titles.. what sort of frames are you getting with things like tomb raider, or Metro Exodus etc?
