Hi,

Ive always been to review websites and seen that they use certain programs to give them a score of how well or bad their computer setup is. Is there a universal program which can give me, like, a score out of 10 of how good or bad my machine is?

Thanks.

What do you really want to know? If you want to know gaming performance, then running game benchmarks in your favourite recent games can be a good indicator. 3DMark used to be popular as well, though I'm far from the graphics card scene nowadays... Think there's a PCMark too. There's a system benchmark of sorts built into Vista. SiSoft Sandra has an overall system benchmark feature, I believe. If you look on the review websites, they'll often say what software they are using.

If you are particularly concerned with specifics about your system, though, it might be worth looking on the subforums - for example, HDTune is a good one for hard disks, and is often mentioned in the Hard Drives forum.
