Perhaps a silly SSD question, maybe not

Ok so I have just bought a crucial C300 + an Asus U3S6 USB 3.0 / SATA 600 PCI-e Card, to which Im going to do a fresh install of Windows 7.

Would I be best doing a fresh install to the SSD via normal sata on the mobo, then installing the drivers for the Asus card and swapping over to the faster sata connection on the card.

Do you think this is the best way round of doing things?

I'd be tempted to get the Marvell F6 Floppy drivers from the installation CD or check the Asus website for newer ones. Choose 32 or 64 bit depending on OS, put these on a USB stick and load them at the Windows prompt during installation.

On the website there is a driver package " Marvell 912x Controller Driver V1.0.0.1036 for Windows 32/64bit XP & Windows 32/64bit Vista & 32/64bit Windows 7."
