Perhaps the most realistic GTA mod to date?

ICEnhancer 1.25 for me. Its a version of ENB made by Icelaglace.

Theres been various versions, all different to eachother. See here - http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/author/icelaglace

Also worth a download is the DKT70 road textures and H1Vltg3 Modified Settings.

IMO its the best combo to make GTA4 look stunning. Trouble is, there are so many variations of ENB, ICEnhancer and peoples 'settings' files now that theres just too much to choose from. I just found the above combination runs smooth and looks fantastic on my rig.

Cheers for that mate think i will give that a quick download, i was hunting for DKT road textures for ages but they cannot be found anywhere! Looks like H1Vltg3 Modified Settings have them already included which is a touch:)

Didint realize how easy downgrading to 1.0.4 was on steam and if it mucks up its just as easy as copying the whole GTA dir back over 5 min job and back to alpha again :D

It's let down by the character models, as usual. The environment looks absolutely stunning though. And how can anyone not realise that it was wet?

If you've got icehancer etc running, and you've also got something like MSI Afterburner running, then you'll get crashes - so you'll need to ensure that the OSD part of Afterburner isn't running (I think the whole OSD app needs to be closed, not just the OSD disabled!)

Thanks for this mate will give this a shot for sure

The blur made my head sore but it looked god damn fantastic some of the scenes running between cars particularly looked almost real.

Finally got icehancer 1.25 working but i found it very laggy even with my i5 2500k at 4ghz and my msi\7850 clocked to 1050mhz. Think i will have to learn what all the setting in the enb.ini file are and perhaps tweak a few

The motion blur is quite extreme but I think it helps making the game look very fast/fluid.

Looks great though, but shame about the people models, surely that's the first thing you change, even if just the textures.

Looks incredible, I don't mind the gentle blurring when he is running, however it is the quick head-movement blur which really is too much.

Hope that games in the future can utilise things like this but also get the character models on a par as well.

motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, CAR!

motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, motion blur, BUILDING!

:p
